35. Dakota Arms 1874 Sharps Single Shot Rifle

serial #RAL22LR, 22 LR, 23” part round part octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. This rifle appears like-new with the barrel retaining 99% plus original matte blue. The vibrant case colors on the frame and action rate excellent. The extra fancy walnut stock and forearm also rate excellent showing beautifully figured grain with the forearm fitted with a pewter tip; the buttstock having a smooth steel shotgun style widow’s peak buttplate. The gun has a front bead sight, a standing express two folding leaf rear sight and a Vernier tang sight. There is a banded front sling swivel mount on the barrel and a flush mounted swivel base retained by two screws in the toe-line of the stock. This is beautiful small sized Sharps sporting rifle with an overall length of 39” and a 13 3/4” length of pull that weighs only about 6 3/4 lbs.
