serial #464991, 32 ACP, 3 3/4" barrel with an excellent bore. This is a lovely example of a Pocket Hammerless that has seen very little use over the years. Made during the "roaring 20's" (1925) this pistol retains about 98-99% original finish that is starting to thin and showing a few tiny spots of pewter on the heel of the grip safety, plus scattered minor spots of freckling on the slide. The checkered walnut factory grips with silver Rampant Colt medallions rate excellent. The pistol includes an original factory hinged purple box that is correctly end labeled and pencil numbered to the gun. The box rates about very good overall with light scuffing on the edges and other handling marks. Inside the box are a Colt manual that is starting to yellow and slight tearing in the folds but rates about very good overall plus a hang tag outlining proper ammunition to use, "Special Instructions" pamphlet, "Proper Ammunition" notice and a factory two-tone magazine. The additional paperwork listed all rate very good to excellent and the magazine is in the same fine condition as the gun. This beautiful pistol has been handled with plenty of "T-L-C" over the years and will make a fine investment. (88873-94) {C&R} (1200/1800) SOLD FOR $2,300.00
