serial #7332t, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright near excellent barrel showing just a few light hints of very fine pinprick pitting. The metal surfaces of this 1939-dated pistol retain about 90% original blue showing some high edge wear, gripstraps thinning to gray patina, some small dings, scratches and handling marks. The extractor and ejector are a nice plum color while the receiver is just starting to tone to plum under bright light. The checkered walnut grips are stamp-numbered to the gun and remain in very good plus to near excellent condition showing a few very lightly chipped points, small dings, handling marks and the right panel is a little loosely fitted. All of the serialized parts are matching including the grooved firing pin and the pistol includes two original magazines along with a number of original accessories. Both magazines are blue-bodied aluminum base examples one numbered 994v with a "+" and "(Eagle) / 63" and the other numbered 9457p and "(Eagle) / 63". Both remain in very good condition and show some moderate operational wear and light oxidation staining. The included original black leather holster is DLWP-made and 1940-dated with a clear "(Eagle) / WaA416" stamp along with the initials "YEA" lightly scratched into the back. The holster rates very good overall with some scuffing, moderate scratches, spots of light staining, a few small scattered cracks and handling marks. All of the stitching remains tight and the buckle is intact. Also included is a correct code 42 loading tool that shows some light high edge wear. The pistol seems to function well mechanically and would make an excellent addition to any military collection. (138850-1) {C&R} (2000/3000) SOLD FOR $1,955.00
