serial #713, 22 RF, 1 7/8" barrel with a mostly bright very good bore showing some light frosting and strong rifling throughout. The barrel on this little palm pistol retains about 80% original nickel finish showing some spots flaking to gray patina and minor bubbling scattered about more prominent on the left side. The frame and cylinder have mostly toned to pewter gunmetal patina with scattered small dings, spots of pinprick pitting and some strong remnants of nickel finish still remaining on the cylinder. The elaborate black hard rubber grips with molded patent and address information remain in near excellent condition showing a few small scuffs, handling marks and crisp lettering throughout. The screw heads show some moderate slot damage and the mechanism seems to function as it should. The gun features an interesting folding straight pull trigger over the barrel that also acts as a convenient muzzle cover and effective safety when folded down. This hard-to-find pistol has certainly spent some time in a pocket but remains a fine example overall. (138931-78) {ANTIQUE} (1200/1800) SOLD FOR $2,415.00
