serial #164356, 32 WCF, 24'' octagon barrel with full magazine and a bright near excellent bore. This is a very attractive rifle retaining over 95% original blue showing some operational wear along the magazine tube from takedown, minor toning to gray patina at the high edges and upper tang, scattered light scratches and minor freckling. A couple of the screw holes on the action show some circumferential wear. The trigger still retains some faint remnants of fire blue while the color on the extractor and loading gate remain particularly vibrant. The hammer and lever retain bold case-hardened colors with overall toning to pleasing gray patina and even the buttplate still retains some smoky colors. The plain walnut stocks remain in excellent condition retaining nearly all of their original finish with just a bit more wear along the forend, small dings and handling marks. The rifle is sighted with standard sporting rear sight, small German silver blade front with set screw and the action seems to function well mechanically. Really a superb rifle that has seen just a little bit of use. (139018-1) {C&R} (3000/5000) Sold For 4025.00
