serial #E26681, 357 Magnum, 4'' full lug ventilated rib barrel with an excellent bore. This 1971 made revolver remains in lovely condition. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original royal blue finish with a light turn ring on the cylinder and a wisp of edge wear on the right side of the muzzle. The un-numbered checkered walnut factory target grips with gold Rampant Colt medallion rate very good to excellent as re-varnished. The revolver features the standard serrated ramp front sight, black blade Accro rear sight, target hammer and service trigger. It includes a factory two-piece woodgrain box that is end labeled to a Python but grease penciled numbered to another gun on the bottom (and crossed out with a marker), manual and paperwork. The box rates very good to excellent with light scuffing, one torn corner and storage wear but the end label is heavily scuffed with just enough remaining to make out the Python Revolver marking but not the particulars. This gun has seen very little use and is an above average start up gun for the collector. (88940-9) {MODERN} (2500/3500) Sold For 2415.00
