serial #350, 22 Long, 3'' barrel with a bright excellent bore showing one little tiny spot of pitting. You do not often find a gun designed for the pocket or purse in such grand condition. The metal surfaces retain about 98% original nickel plate with scattered light oxidation stains, primarily on the barrel and cylinder, plus limited bubbling, fine scratches and a turn ring on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger have bold case-hardened colors with the face of the trigger worn to pewter. The revolver features a beautiful set of un-numbered factory mother-of-pearl grips with gold S&W medallions that rate excellent. All appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun and it still functions as well as the day it left Springfield. A beautiful little First Model worthy of any fine collection.
