serial #21842, 30 Luger, 4 3/4'' barrel with a bright excellent bore. This is a lovely Swiss Luger retaining about 98% original blue showing some minor high edge and operational wear, a couple small scratches and handling marks. The small parts retain rich straw color showing just some light silvering and a couple spots of freckling while the sear spring, magazine release spring and a couple of the toggle pins retain bold fire blue. The front sight and grip screws also still retain some remnants of fire blue with overall toning to gray patina. The checkered walnut grips with smooth borders are stamp-numbered to the gun and remain in near excellent condition showing just a few lightly chipped points and handling marks. There is a flaking sticker on the inside of the right panel that show some remnants of a soldier's name, the front of the frame is marked with a rather poorly-struck ''P'' private release stamp and all of the serialized parts are matching; the un-grooved firing pin is not numbered. Included is a bright-bodied plastic base Swiss magazine with cursive ''P'' on the spine and a small Swiss cross on stamped on the base. An excellent example of these finely-made Swiss Lugers.
