German P.38 Pistol by Walther ("AC/40" Code)

serial #3512b, 9mm, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  This pistol has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, slide, and locking block and retains about 95% of the original high polish blue with some very minor silvering at the muzzle, on some of the projecting edges, and some mild fading on the right side of the slide.  The majority of the finish loss, however, has occurred along the front grip strap which has turned dark gray.  The dark brown resin grips are in excellent shape and a single, mismatched magazine is included.  This is a fine standard "ac/40" pistol which has retained most of the original finish.  (2305-1) {C&R}                    (1800/2200) SOLD FOR $2070.00
