German P.38 Pistol by Walther ("AC 45" Zero Series)

serial #026719, 9mm, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  This pistol has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, slide, and locking block with 95% of the original matte blue finish remaining.  There is mild silvering present at the muzzle as well as on the projecting edges and contact points, most noticeably on the front grip strap.  Additionally, the front sight blade has been ground down slightly to alter the point of aim.  The dark brown resin grips have a small chip missing from the rear of the right side panel just under the hammer and exhibit some light surface wear throughout.  A single magazine accompanies the pistol.  This is a fine example of a late war zero series pistol.  (2305-8) {C&R} (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $1495.00
