serial #10221, 30 Luger, 4 3/4" barrel with a very good, bright bore having light pitting within the grooves. This "GERMANY" marked pistol has all matching numbers with the metal retaining about 70-75% of the original blue with scattered spots of light and moderate freckling as well as a few small areas of light rust and pitting, mostly along the grip straps, but also in spots on the right side, heaviest at the chamber. The takedown lever, trigger, magazine release, and ejector all retain traces of the original straw coloring. The checkered wooden grips are both numbered to the gun on the interior and are in very good condition with some flattening of the points, especially on the right side panel. A single wartime wooden base magazine, numbered to a different gun is included. This is a good, early American Eagle which suffered the misfortune of poor storage. (2234-17) {C&R} (1800/2200) SOLD FOR $1495.00
