serial #48652B, 22 LR, 24" barrel with a bright excellent bore. Metal surfaces of the barreled action retain 97-98% original blue, the only loss being some very light muzzle wear and some lightly scattered oxidation staining which is very light and unobtrusive. The bottom metal has flaked primarily to a gray brown on the carry area and on the bow, retaining perhaps 50% original blue. The checkered walnut capped pistol grip stock with contrasting black forend tip and checkered steel buttplate rates about excellent showing only very minor handling marks and light dings from the years of careful use. The original brass beaded Redfield front sight is in place, the sight hood is no longer present. The receiver has its original Lyman 48 sight with screw-in aperture. The gun retains its factory super grade style sling swivels. Overall a very nice model 52B sporter. (34418-23) {C&R} (3000/4000) SOLD FOR $3450.00
