serial #5565, 9mm Bayard, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a "1910/21" stamped, A.E.P. marked pistol which has the Danish "(crown)/D" proof on the right side of the frame and "261" inventory number on the left. The metal has 95-97% of the original blue finish remaining with mild silvering along the projecting edges, most noticeably on the right side rail at the front and at the rear around the Liege proofs. The hammer, trigger, bolt, and safety have some faint traces of the original straw color but are primarily bright gray now. The uncheckered wooden grips are both numbered to the gun on the interior and are in fine shape with only a few very minor handling marks, mostly confined to the top edge of the left panel, marring the original varnish finish. A single correct but mis-numbered magazine is included and the pistol rates fine condition overall. (74392-24) {C&R} (800/1200) SOLD FOR $1955.00
