309. Smith & Wesson Performance Center Schofield Model of 2000 Revolver

serial #GWS0013, 45 S&W, 7" fluted barrel with a bright, excellent bore. The metal surfaces on this modern third model Schofield top break revolver retain 99% original blue finish with a very faint turn ring on cylinder. The hammer, trigger assembly, hinge spring and latches retain 99% of their strong color case-hardend finish. The walnut grips rate excellent with facsimile cartouche on bottom right panel. Revolver features a pinned half-moon front sight marked "Performance Center/2000” on the left side and "Mod. 3 Schofield/1875" on right side along with a fixed notch rear sight. Revolver rests in a hinged lockable blonde walnut presentation case with a French fitted royal blue baize interior which also holds a Performance Center No. 3 Schofield commemorative medallion numbered to revolver. The interior of lid is fitted with an elastic pouch which nicely holds the included factory letter which describes the history of the Schofield revolver and the 25 years of planning needed to produce the model 2000 Schofield. Mounted on top of case is a brass plaque which nicely reads "SMITH & WESSON/MODEL 3 SCHOFIELD". Also included is a hinged Performance Center aluminum case, trigger lock, manual, model 2000 spec sheet, key and presentation case cardboard shipping box.
