These stamped sheet metal tempered spring steel units achieve fully automatic fire in your semiautomatic AR-15 by pulling the disconnector to the rear forcing it to release the hammer; the forward movement of the carrier will strike the upright paddle of the link just as the bolt locks in battery, releasing the hammer, and firing the rifle. Unit comes with two rear paddles. Please note that the lightning link will only work with certain carriers and not with others (correct bolt carriers are easily obtainable).
