222. Browning Superposed Grade I Over Under Shotgun
serial #19853, 12 ga., 30" ventilated rib barrels choked modified and full with excellent bores. The rib features dual ivory bead sights. The metal surfaces retain about 85% original blue with light handling wear and fading overall, the top barrel having a very slight ding and a few specks of light surface oxidation with fine pits. The round knob long tang buttstock and splinter forend rate near excellent with minor dings and light overall crazing to the lacquer finish. The buttstock has an added Pachmayr vented recoil pad with spacers giving it a 14-1/4" length of pull from the blued trigger. An overall near excellent condition 1949 vintage Superposed that should make an excellent double in the field. (44803-29) {C&R} (1200/1800) SOLD FOR $977.50 |
