764. Savage Model 99 R Post War Lever Action Rifle
serial #568405, 300 Savage, 24" barrel with a near excellent bore that has a few very light pits. The metal surfaces retain about 80% original blue with most of the loss being on the receiver which is fading to gray. The lever retains about 90% vibrant case colors, the balance is fading to gray as well. The checkered walnut semi-beavertail forearm and pistolgrip buttstock rate excellent with a few minor dings. The rifle has replacement flip-up rear sight and Weaver K2.5 riflescope is mounted to the receiver. The scope is in very good condition and features a post and crosshair reticle and very good optics.
