serial #20044, .44 caliber, 6" round barrel with a bright minty bore. This revolver shows little if any use and could be unfired. The barrel, frame and cylinder all retain 85 - 90% bright original blue overall with loss due only to flaking and with exposed metal bearing a lovely smooth even brown patina. Most of the flaking is on the flats of the frame toward the rear section. The front and rear faces of the cylinder retain virtually all of their original blue with the nipples remaining perfect showing no wear or damage. The hammer and loading lever retain nearly all of their original vivid color case-hardened finish. The one-piece walnut grip rates excellent plus with three strong cartouches and all of its original oil finish and just a few blunt impact marks on the butt. Revolver functions beautifully. This is a truly fabulous, investment quality Starr revolver. (17630-5) {ANTIQUE} (4000/6000) SOLD FOR $5,462.50
