serial #304946, 38 WCF, 24" octagon barrel with full magazine and an excellent bore. The barrel and magazine retain about 93-95% evenly thinning original blue finish with thinnest areas being on the high edges with some edges showing a few very light (very light) dings. The barrel shows some small scratches just beyond forend tip, mostly on left side. The action retains about 70% original blue finish with forward section of belly toned to a smooth gray patina and with just light thinning on the sides beginning to blend with a smooth brown patina. The hammer and lever show generous amounts of faded original color case-hardened finish. The plain walnut buttstock and forend rate very good plus with a light coat of added oil and just light handling marks present. The rifle is sighted with standard open sporting sights. Overall a nice honest 1905 production 1892 rifle that retains lots of original finish. (17707-7) {C&R} (2000/3000) SOLD FOR $1,495.00
