Click on images for enlarged versions.

serial #XE328, 7.62x54 Russian, 25" barrel with a very good plus bore that shows some scattered light frosting in grooves. The metal surfaces of this 1939 vintage rifle retain 95% restored blue finish with scattered fading on barrel, buttplate and triggerguard and there is some pinprick pitting underneath blue on buttplate and topcover. The birch stock rates very good as cleaned with an added varnish finish, some handling marks, stains and a repaired 2" crack on underside of stock. The bolt handle is matching, while the bolt body itself is unnumbered and magazine and triggerguard are mismatched. The magazine is marked with a Finnish Army property marking "SA" on the underside. An original Russian sling is included with this rifle. A very good restored example of these rare Soviet self-loading rifles. (207849-23) {C&R} (1000/1500) SOLD $5,462.50
