serial #10615 (series 2), 8 mm Nambu, 4 1/2" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The milled metal surfaces on this late war pistol retain about 98% original blue with light edge and contact wear at the rear of the barrel and safety lever. The grooved Asian hardwood grips rate excellent overall with a few dents at the toe of the right grip. This is a January 1944 manufactured pistol with all matching parts including the firing pin, guide and blued body magazine. Included with the pistol is an original clamshell leather holster containing a cleaning rod and firing pin numbered to a different pistol, wrapped in stained fabric. The holster rates near excellent with expected light stains and handling wear and Japanese characters still visible inside the lid, the firing pin remains intact with spots of light surface oxidation. An excellent all-matching late war Type 14 pistol. (57865-41) {C&R} [Donnie Albin Collection] (1000/1500) SOLD $977.50
