Click on images for enlarged versions.

serial #2831d, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright about excellent bore showing strong rifling and only some minor frosting at the throat. The metal surfaces retain about 95-97% original blue, the loss due to high edge and contact point wear. The straw parts still retain a strong straw temper with only light oxidation on the right side of the trigger. The toggle is Erfurt marked, the chamber is 1916 dated and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the un-grooved firing pin. The checkered walnut grips rate about excellent with very little wear and are stamp-numbered to the gun on their interior. Included is a single bright-bodied wood-based magazine that is numbered "6656a" and is in otherwise excellent condition except for a crack in the wooden base. Overall an excellent example of a World War I era P.08 pistol. (218050-54) {C&R} (1200/1600) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
