serial #7533, 9mm, 3 1/2" commercial barrel with an excellent bore. The slide is a commercial Walther slide with Interarms markings. The pistol retains about 99% re-applied high polish blue with scattered light scratches. The trigger, takedown lever, hammer, slide stop and safety lever have been gold plated with light handling and operational wear present for an overall rating of about 98%. The serrated walnut grips rate very good with no visible handling marks but there are two small chips missing from the rear of each panel where it meets the knuckle of the frame. The frame has a visible "[eagle] / WaA135" Waffenamt mark on the left side of the frame next to the serial number. The slide mounted safety still blocks the movement of the firing pin but does not de-cock the hammer. The pistol includes a woodgrain Walther box end labeled to a matte finished P-38 with a non-matching serial number. Also included are a pair of commercial Walther magazines and a cleaning rod. The slide mounted safety / decocker does not decock hammer. (88002-107) {MODERN} [Charles Hadley Collection] (400/600) SOLD FOR $690.00
