serial #82, 14mm, 19" barrel with a very good plus bore that shows scattered light pitting and freckling. The in-the-white barrel, saddle bar, bolt and receiver remain mostly bright with scattered light pitting and oxidation staining. The brass triggerguard, band, lower tang and buttplate are partially bright with scattered oxidation staining. The walnut stock rates good plus showing a few separations on left side of butt, scattered abrasions, dings, handling marks and scratches. The receiver is unmarked but the top saddle bar screw, bolt parts and barrel are all matching and the bolt and striker appear to function well. There is no firing pin/needle present, the bolt handle has a few light impact marks, the front band is slightly loose and the top saddle bear screw shows moderate slot damage. A very good example of a hard-to-find Prussian M66 carbine. (207879-267) {ANTIQUE} [Craig Brown Collection] (2000/4000) SOLD FOR $4,600.00
