427. Winchester Model 1894 Special Order Semi-Deluxe Rifle

serial #319163, 32 WS, 26" octagon barrel with full magazine and an excellent bore. This rifle has several special order features including pistolgrip checkered stock with plain wood and special sights. The barrel and magazine retain 95% plus original blue finish with most loss being just some light silvering on the high edges. The action retains over 80% bright original blue with most loss on belly. The plain walnut checkered pistolgrip buttstock and forend rate near excellent, the buttstock appears all original with 95% original finish remaining while the forend appears to have been lightly refinished with checkering freshened. The rifle is sighted with a Lyman beaded blade front, blank in rear seat and a Lyman folding tang mounted peepsight. The rifle comes with a factory letter which reads as follows: Rifle, 32 WS, octagon barrel, plain trigger, plain pistolgrip checkered, Lyman rear, semi-jack front, Lyman rear cup disc and Lyman front sights, blank in rear seat, received in the warehouse on October 4, 1906 "from Stock" and shipped from the warehouse on October 29, 1906 with no other model 1894's.
