serial #7605a, 9mm, 4" barrel with a very good bore with minor pitting its full length. The metal surfaces retain about 92% original blue, the loss due to high edge and contact point wear, handling marks and minor scratches. The straw parts still retain a strong straw temper showing only light oxidation on the right side of the trigger. The toggle is Erfurt marked and the chamber is 1912 dated and all of the visible numbered parts are matching except for the un-numbered, un-grooved firing pin. The rear of the breech block has been ground down leaving the rear of the extractor exposed. The checkered walnut grips rate very good with only light wear and lightly compressed points and are stamp-numbered to the gun on their interior. Included is a single bright-bodied wood-based magazine that is numbered "1696l" and is in excellent condition. The frame is without a hold-open or a stock lug. Overall a nice example of a pre-World War I era P.08 pistol. (218050-382) {C&R} (1200/1600) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
