serial #7714r, 9mm, 4" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 95-97% original blue, the loss due to light muzzle and contact point wear. The toggle is marked byf, the chamber is dated 41 and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the grooved firing pin. The checkered black Bakelite grips rate about excellent with a few diamonds chipped off the left side grip and they are correctly un-numbered. Included is a single blue-bodied plastic-based magazine marked "fxo", "P.08" and Waffenamt 37 stamped. The right side of the receiver has the correct "SE-655 SE-655" acceptance stamps followed by the "eagle/(swastika)" German military test proof, which is also on the barrel and breechblock. Included with this gun is a P.08 hard sided holster dated 1942, it is contractor marked "epf" (Karl Bocker Waldbrohl) and Waffenamt 195 marked on its rear. This black leather holster rates about excellent with only minor scuffs and scratches and intact seam stitching around its periphery. Nestled inside the holster we find a single blue-bodied aluminum-based magazine numbered to the gun and a "+" as well as the same "fxo", "P.08" and Waffenamt 37 stamped body as the first magazine, also a nice blued loading/takedown tool that is "SE-63" marked. Overall an excellent example of a complete "black widow" rig in a seldom encountered state of condition. (218112-57) {C&R} [Marsell Collection] (3000/3500) SOLD FOR $2,875.00
