serial #299, 11mm German Ordnance, 4 1/2" barrel with a good bore that shows pitting throughout but strong rifling. The metal surfaces of this undated revolver retain about 40% original blue with fading and oxidation staining throughout, silvering on the high edges of barrel and frame and light pitting on front and back straps. The smooth hardwood grips rate very good plus showing a few light stains, dings, scratches and handling marks. All visible serialized parts are matching and the revolver bears "(Crown)/U" proof markings. There is a unit marking on the bottom front of frame which reads "L.K./126" and this revolver includes a model 1883 black leather holster that is marked "AWM/10/93" in near excellent condition with light flaking and wear. A nice Reichsrevolver for the German military collector. (207879-343) {ANTIQUE} [Craig Brown Collection] (800/1200) SOLD FOR $920.00
