Click on images for enlarged versions.

serial #3998h, 11mm German Ordnance, 4 1/2" barrel with a very good bore that shows some scattered light pitting. The metal surfaces of this 1893 dated revolver show a fading original blue with scattered oxidation staining and some light silvering on the high edges. The smooth grips rate very good with scratches, dings, handling marks and light stains. All visible serialized parts are matching and there is a crossed-out unit marking on the backstrap that is indiscernable along with an undisturbed unit marking on the backstrap that reads "2.1.M.62.29" and an original brown leather M/79 holster that shows flaking, crazing, and a broken strap is included. The markings of the aforementioned holster are indiscernable and this is a very good Reichsrevolver set. (207879-383) {ANTIQUE} [Craig Brown Collection] (800/1200) SOLD FOR $920.00
