serial #32633, 22 LR, 12" part octagon part round barrel with a good to perhaps near very good bore which shows strong evident rifling but with scattered light pitting its full-length, more prominent near the breech end. The barrel retains about 97% original blue, the loss is due to light fading, some muzzle wear and a few scattered light scratches or handling marks. The frame and triggerguard retain all their original heavy nickel plate with a few very light, superficial scratches here and there. There is very good strong original blue on the hammer and trigger and many of the screws. Included is the matching-numbered buttstock which rates very good plus with scattered light oxidation and flaking, retaining perhaps 92-95% original nickel overall; the barrel and frame are numbered alike. The smooth walnut grips rate excellent and are pencil-numbered to the gun. The rifle is sighted with a proper combination front sight and flip-up adjustable ladder rear. Really a super example overall in a very fine state of condition. (38320-79) {C&R} (1000/1500) SOLD FOR $805.00
