serial #3170y, 9mm, 4'' barrel with a bright about excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 97-98% original salt blue, the loss due to high edge wear and sparsely scattered pinprick pitting along the frame. The toggle is marked byf, the chamber is dated 41 and all of the visible numbered parts are matching including the grooved firing pin. The checkered black Bakelite grips rate excellent and are correctly un-numbered. Included is a single blue-bodied plastic-based magazine marked "fxo" and Waffenamt 37 stamped. The right side of the receiver has the correct "SE-655 SE-655" acceptance stamps followed by the "(eagle) / (swastika)" German military test proof, which is also on the barrel and breechblock. Overall an excellent example of a "black widow" P.08 in a seldom encountered state of condition. (218050-32) {C&R} (1500/2500) SOLD FOR $1,955.00
