serial #4996-NM, 45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent bore. This lovely 1959 made Gold Cup retains about 98% factory blue with a few scratches and light high edge wear. The checkered walnut factory grips with gold Colt medallions rate excellent. The pistol features a factory adjustable Accro rear sight, Patridge front sight, skeletonized trigger with overtravel screw and serrated raised rib on the slide to name a few. This pistol includes a period two-piece factory "Gold Cup" box that is correctly labeled to the gun but un-numbered, a Colt "coin" screwdriver with a small oxidation blemish and a single correct factory magazine. The box rates very good with light handling wear and two corners on the cover repaired. A fine example of the post war National Match. (88410-11) {C&R} (1500/2000) SOLD FOR $2,185.00
