serial #29568, 30 Mauser, 4" barrel with a very good bore that shows scattered light frosting. The metal surfaces retain 98% of a museum grade restored blued finish with a few scattered tiny blued-over pinprick pits. The locking block, extractor and safety retain nearly all of their expertly restored fire blue, while the trigger retains much of its restored straw with some light oxidation stain specks. The grooved grips rate very good plus with a lightly added varnish, a tiny chip around the left grip screw, a few light dings and handling marks. All visible serialized parts are matching, including the grips, and the pistol bears German "(Crown)/(Crown)/U" proof markings. Surviving examples of this model pistol are scarce and this nicely restored example will make a great addition to any Mauser collection. (208400-12) {C&R} (2000/4000) SOLD FOR $3,737.50
