serial #RF0008165C, 45 ACP, 5" barrel with an excellent bore. This lovely pistol has seen very little if any use and the brushed and matte stainless steel surfaces rate excellent with a minor assembly mark near the slide stop. The fully checkered walnut factory grips rate excellent. The Randall Firearms Company remained in service for only two-years producing only about 10,000 guns in that time span but they had a number of trend setting innovations which included the first all stainless steel semi-auto pistol and the first true mirror image left hand 1911. This right-handed version of the Service Model featured a flat top slide, Millett Model 100 "Gold Cup" style adjustable rear sight, extended thumb safety, full length recoil spring guide rod and solid long trigger with overtravel stop. The code in the serial number indicates the receiver was machined by Caspian Arms of Hardwick, Vermont. This beautiful gun includes a factory box correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun, a pair of factory magazines, sample size RIG stainless steel lubricant (both tubes unopened), manual and paperwork. The picture box rates near excellent with a few light scuffs. Only 2,083 Service Models were made and few are in as fine a condition as this one. A great investment for the 1911 collector. (88682-2) {MODERN} (1800/2200) SOLD FOR $2,300.00
