serial #7067S69, 12 ga., 30" ventilated rib barrels choked full and modified with bright excellent bores and 26" barrels choked skeet and skeet with bright excellent bores. The barrels both retain about 98% plus original blue, with only light wear ahead of the forend from takedown. The irons and frame retain 99% original blue and feature the lovely quality open flowing foliate scroll with background punch-dot shading these arms are known for. The gold inlaid game scene vignettes are flawlessly executed and crisp, as-are the gold wire inlays. The arm is signed by Fabrique Nationale engraver Leroy at the rear of the left frame flat, the engraver has really outdone himself and is a tribute to Louis Vrancken the original designer of the pattern. The trigger and the bottom plate pivot pin retain all of their original gold plate. The checkered walnut pistolgrip buttstock and both semi-beavertail-style forends rate excellent to as-new with all of their original high-gloss finish and flawlessly-executed wraparound checkering patterns. The length of pull to the curved leather face Browning ventilated recoil pad is 14 1/4". Both sets of barrels feature ivory target beads and lovely, very finely hand-matted file cut ribs, both sets of barrels lock up tightly with the top lever still right of center and the arm seems to function well mechanically. A bit of hardened oil is noted from disuse and the arm could likely benefit from a professional cleaning, it appears to have seen little or no use as the breech face remains immaculate with virtually no drag marks from the ejectors. The arm comes with a complete set of Purbaugh 20 Ga, 28 Ga, and .410 bore skeet tubes, serial numbered to the gun, mallet, tube "knocker" and four spare ejectors which are new and un-fitted; all ride in a custom hard side luggage case with Bill Borchert Larson medallion affixed to outside of case, Mr. Larson a previous owner. An absolutely stunning and very versatile set which appears to have seen very little or no use, worthy of the finest sportsman's or skeet shooters battery.
