1638. P. Webley & Son R.I.C. Model 83 Double Action Revolver

serial #62702, 450 Webley, 2 1/2" barrel with a bright very good bore showing a little frosting and a few tiny pits. The metal surfaces of this revolver retain about 90% older reapplied dull blue with small patches of oxidation staining scattered throughout, small dings and some old light pitting under the finish. The markings have softened overall but remain mostly visible, there are proofs on the barrel, frame and cylinder, the topstrap is marked "P. WEBLEY & SON / BIRMINGHAM" and the left side frame "WEBLEY'S / RIC / MODEL 83 / 5 SHOT" over the W & S flying bullet logo. The checkered walnut one piece grip remains in very good condition with mostly worn finish, some small dings and handling marks. The lanyard ring is missing, the cylinder is matching the frame, timing is solid and lockup just a little loose overall. (138620-53) {C&R} (400/600) SOLD FOR $805.00
