serial #709, 22 LR, 10" barrel with a bright about excellent bore which may show a couple spots of very very light frosting. Barrel, yoke and "cylinder" retain about 97-98% original blue, the loss is due to some muzzle wear and remnants of some very light oxidation on the left side of the barrel, those areas a silvery gray with a couple very minor pinprick pits. The frame itself retains perhaps 95-97% original blue, the loss being primarily on the frontstrap and bottom of the triggerguard bow with some leading edge of the frame wear. The bright polished sides of the hammer remain mostly brilliant with some very light staining in the area of the spur. The checkered walnut grips rate very good plus to near excellent with only some minor handling marks, they are stamp-numbered to the gun; there is a tiny chip missing at the leading edge of the right grip. The revolver still functions well and lockup is good with very slight lateral play barrel-to-frame. A very nice example overall that will likely perform as well at the range as it will as an investment. (38638-4) {C&R} (1800/2200) SOLD FOR $2,185.00
