serial #3593, 22 LR, 6 3/4" barrel with an excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 98% original blue with light edge wear and scratches. The Reising "It's a Bear" checkered brown hard rubber grips rate very good to excellent overall with tiny checks emanating from each screw hole to the edge. The mechanism appears to function well and the gun bears the Hartford, Connecticut barrel address. This pistol includes a single two tone Reising marked magazine. The holster is a very rare original flap holster for the Reising semi-auto target. They were made for Reising by Heiser Holster and is brown top grain leather with a brass closure snap and rates very good plus with only minor scuffs and handling marks from the years and very light flaking on the flex point of the flap. The seam stitching is tight and intact its entire length as are the small steel rivets; each of the rivets exhibiting the intertwined triple-H trademark of Herman H. Heiser holster company. The rear belt suspension flat is maker-stamped "Reising Mfg. Corp. / New York City / 3 5". Overall, a very rare top-quality holster and fine example of an early Reising target pistol.
