10. U.S. Model 1922 M2 Rifle by Springfield Armory

serial #364, 22 LR, 24" 11-26 dated Springfield Armory barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces on this attractive rifle retain about 97% gray-green parkerized finish, the loss due to some light wear and sparsely scattered handling marks, primarily on the barrel with a bit on the bottom metal as well. The M2 bolt body remains bright with only very light operational wear and some light oxidation toning on the knob; shroud and striker retain excellent original blue. The walnut pistolgrip M2 issue-style stock rates very good to very good plus with much original finish and scattered light handling marks. "M2" is stamped on the bottom of the pistolgrip and there is a very good "SA/O" arsenal stamping on the left side of the butt to the rear of the pistolgrip. The original front sight is intact as is the Lyman 48 rear and a single blue-body magazine marked "M2" is included. A stamped sheet metal front sight protector and green web 1 1/4" military sling are included as well. A very attractive 1922 M2 with a desirable three-digit serial number and in excellent condition.
