serial #5021051, 30-06, 24" 6-44 dated 2-groove Remington barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain 97% reapplied blue and arsenal parkerizing with some blued over pitting on receiver, a patch of silvering on front of barrel likely where a front sight once was, some light pitting on bolt body, oxidation staining on bolt handle and some light wear to the exposed edges. The walnut stock rates very good as refinished with an added varnish, a modified magazine cutoff slot, a partially faded circled "P" firing proof, some light flaking around butt and scattered handling marks. The rifle is sighted with a Lyman Alaskan 2.5x power scope that has post reticle and clear optics. The scope tube retains 85% original blue with a few patches of light pitting and scattered flaking to brown. This 1903A3 was modified into a 1903A4 style rifle with there being no sights and a modified bolt handle. Included are a front sight cover and brush. A good affordable commercially assembled clone of a 1903A4 sniper rifle. (208803-29) {MODERN} (400/600) SOLD FOR $690.00
