serial #9243, 45 ACP, 5" High Standard replacement barrel with a very good plus to near excellent bore which shows just a bit of light frosting in the grooves. The metal surfaces are an even mix of gunmetal gray, toning to plum and darker gray original blue, perhaps 20% of which remains. The double diamond checkered walnut grips rate very good to very good plus, showing only very light wear, the left grip with one prominent ding. Included with the gun is a single seven round General Shaver, division of Remington Rand, blued magazine which rates very good plus showing only light oxidation. The metal remains mostly smooth, there are a couple light damaged screw slots but the markings remain crisp and legible. A very good "example" piece overall.
