288. U.S. FP-45 Liberator Pistol by G.M. Guide Lamp Division

45 ACP, 4" barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel has a smooth grind mark with a few minor welding imperfections. The metal surfaces retain about 97% original corrosion resistant finish with scattered very light freckling, a few oxidation blemishes, scratches and other handling marks. The cocking knob remains in about excellent condition with light surface casting imperfections and a cavity mold number of 1, which did not cast cleanly. This four-hole pistol has no crescent F breech mark, the floorplate is present but dented and it remains fully functional. A very nice Liberator for the WWII clandestine artifact collector. (86229-N7) {C&R} [Elliott Riggs Collection] (1200/1800) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
