serial #234270, 38-40 W.C.F., 4 3/4" barrel with a lightly pitted and oxidized bore. The metal surfaces of this 1902 made revolver retain about 55-60% later added non-factory blue finish that is wearing to brown on the grip frame, barrel and more to pewter on the ejector rod housing in addition to high edge wear, handling marks and a turn ring on the cylinder. The un-numbered replacement checkered hard rubber factory grips with Rampant Colt in an oval rate about good with light to moderate wear, handling marks and they are proud of the frame in several areas. The action remains crisp and all appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun. The markings are soft from the metal preparation but mostly visible, except the barrel address which is mostly washed out. This revolver should make a good project gun or upstart collectible to the aspiring Single Action collector. (88825-138D33756) {C&R} (800/1200) SOLD FOR $1,150.00
