653. Smith & Wesson Model 66 Combat Magnum Revolver

serial #4K64935, 357 Magnum, 4" pinned barrel with an excellent bore. The stainless steel surfaces of this early 1970s made revolver rate excellent with a turn ring on the recessed cylinder and few light handling marks. The standard hammer and trigger retain full hard chrome finish. The checkered goncalo alves factory target grips with silver S&W medallions rate excellent with a minor scuff on the heel of the right panel. This gun features a Baughman ramp front sight and micro adjustable rear sight. The early model 66's had the entire rear sight assembly and front sight blade made of stainless steel. The gun includes a factory box correctly end labeled and numbered to the gun plus paperwork. The printed label on the box is excellent but the applied plaster label has heavily faded but the handwritten information is clear. This gun has seen some light but honest use and remains a viable addition for the collector or revolver enthusiast. (88817-17) {MODERN} (600/800) SOLD FOR $1,265.00
