Click on images for enlarged versions.

303 British, 28" barrel with a very good bore that shows some light pitting and scattered oxidation but strong rifling. The barrel retains 90% original blue with fading to gray at muzzle and scattered light flaking to brown. The receiver and bands are a gray patina with scattered freckling and traces of the original case colors. The triggerguard and lower tang are turning a silver pewter with several light impact marks at front, scattered freckling and traces of the original case colors. The hardwood stock rates about very good with a faint Quebec roundel, a strong U.S. marking, a couple partially faded unit markings, a glue repaired 4 1/2" crack on front handguard, a couple other small cracks and chips on front handguard and scattered handling marks. The rifle is equipped with a correct Canada Tool rear sight assembly. A very good example of these interesting Canadian military rifles. (208752-43) {C&R} (700/900) SOLD FOR $1,150.00
