serial #4829, 9mm Largo, 6" barrel with a bright very good bore showing some very light frosting. The metal surfaces of this pistol retain about 88% original blue showing high edge wear, some pinprick pits at the high edges, gripstraps toning to brown-gray patina, scratches and small dings particularly around the magazine well. All of the markings are still crisp and clear, a couple of the screws show some light slot damage and the hammer, trigger and barrel tip-up lever are mostly bright showing some light freckling and minor staining. The black finger groove buffalo horn grips remain in very good plus condition showing some moderate staining, light smoothing and scattered tiny cracks. Included is one original nickel-plated magazine in very good condition with some light flaking, areas toning to gray patina and the name "Lorenzo" lightly scratched into it. These interesting pistols feature a lever on the slide for one-handed charging and lack triggerguards. This example appears to function well mechanically and would make for a nice addition to any arms collection. (138737-458) {C&R} [Dr. Louis C. March Jr. Collection] (700/900) SOLD FOR $1,380.00
