serial #4183c, 9mm, 4" barrel with a fair-good bore showing moderate oxidation but strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this 1940-dated pistol retain about 90% reapplied blue with high edge wear, patches of the barrel and gripstraps toning to brownish plum patina, freckling and some spots of light pitting underneath the newer finish. The checkered walnut grips are stamp-numbered to the gun and remain in very good plus condition with some light handling marks, a few tiny chips and the right panel a little loose. All visible serialized parts are matching including the grooved firing pin and most of the markings still remain very clear. A single 122-coded blue-bodied aluminum base magazine numbered 805h with a "+" is included. This pistol will probably still make for a decent shooter. (138050-723) {C&R} (700/900) SOLD FOR $977.50
