serial #1114g, 9mm, 4" barrel with a an about good bore showing moderate oxidation but good rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this 1936-dated pistol retain about 96% reapplied dull blue with some light high edge wear, a few areas toning to plum-gray, light scratches along with some patches of light pitting and old dings scattered about underneath the newer finish. The ejector has been cleaned into the white and the extractor is a dark plum patina. The checkered walnut grips are not matching the gun, the left panel un-numbered and the right numbered "70". They remain in about very good condition showing some lightly chipped points, a few compressed areas, dings and handling marks. The left side of the receiver has an "X" stamped above the serial number likely indicating Russian capture, the serial number on the grooved firing pin has been punched out, the safety lever and toggle pin numbers have also been buffed out. The remaining serialized parts are matching and the pistol includes one blue-bodied aluminum base magazine showing some older reapplied blue toning to gray throughout with only an "x", "+" and "(Eagle) / 655" visible on the base. The gun still seems to function well and would probably be a good shooter. (138050-16) {C&R} (600/800) SOLD FOR $862.50
