serial #131773, 32 ACP, 3 3/4" barrel with a bright near excellent bore showing just a hint of light frosting. The metal surfaces of this pistol retain about 97% original bright blue with just some light freckling and staining on the backstrap, a couple minor scratches here and there, some errant freckles and handling marks. The markings are crisp and the trigger retains some strong case hardened colors mostly toned to a nice straw color. The checkered hard rubber grips with "Savage Quality" Indian logo remain in near excellent condition showing some light handling marks, a couple tiny stains and the word "TRADEMARK" still visible in the headband on both panels. The loaded chamber indicator is intact and the pistol includes one correct magazine that engages the slide hold open. An excellent condition example of these low-production pistols for the Savage collector. (138737-171) {C&R} [Dr. Louis C. March Jr. Collection] (500/700) SOLD FOR $977.50
