serial #3290i, 9mm, 4" barrel with an oxidized bore still showing evident rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this 1917-dated pistol retain about 97% reapplied blue with some high edge wear, scratches, small dings, some areas of the frame toning to plum and some spots of old light pitting underneath the blue. The un-numbered checkered walnut grips remain in about good condition with some small chips, dings and handling marks. The right panel is a later Waffenamt-marked piece and shows some rather crude adjustments to the magazine cutout. The left side of the receiver bears an "X" stamp next to the serial number likely indicating Russian capture and refurbishment and there is a C.A.I. import stamp on the underside of the barrel. The grooved firing pin in un-numbered and the hold open serial number has been removed but all of the remaining serialized parts are matching. Included is one original bright-bodied aluminum base magazine numbered 2410 with an "(Eagle) / 2" stamp. (138050-21) {C&R} (500/700) SOLD FOR $805.00
